It's easier not to have to see things...

Yuikio answered for me

But if you lived like that, you would not only miss out on evil, but everything else. You have to take everything in equal doses. Man will always be a feckwit to each other, and hiding from it will not make it go away.

I agree with you completely. I don't live like that, but it does seem that this is the way people prefer to live. It is easier, right?

yeah, but we might as well be plants, or inanimate objects if we want to live like that. I've been in some proper shitty places (India, West Africa, Eritrea, etc), and some shitty situations, (getting messed about by a Kid with an AK047 in Port gentil, Gabon, and the same thing in Pointe noire in the Congo) but as crappy as it was, and as scary **** may have been at time, I wouldn't change it for the world. The bad bits make the good bits that little bit better.

I see this one is still going in circles.

Yeah, your right. There were good points on all sides I think, but most of them conflicted. Maybe just have to agree to disagree.

It's a good job Saddam didn't tap his brake lights on the guy riding up his a$$, then he would have been REALLY fu<ked!
