What kind of cut you guys prefer? I am a fan of the V cut, don't like the traditional straight cut or the hole punch method. and for the record I am drunk if I say something stupid or have shitty spelling lol

I like the traditional cut but V is OK too. I'm considering getting an Audi cigar punch.

Do you cut above the shoulder? If you cut too far above the shoulder you get tobacco in your mouth and the cigar starts to unravel. Truly tragic indeed.......

common mistake people get too damn frisky with the cutters. Like you don't have to lop off a 1/4" to smoke it ..... hence the "V" brother, I/m standing my ground....... try it lol

I did and I like it. If you like to chomp on the butt or hold it in your mouth the V tends to collapse though

My 10 cigars that I won came in from cigarbids.com today. My humidor finally has a full top tray again.

^ Nice! I have to wait for my guard paycheck until I can stock up again. As for the humidor I just used a box I made in woodshop in high school. So much for anti-tobacco classes....

Okay Bogie - bought the identical humidor - will arrive Friday!

You say a cutter comes with the box?

Got a list of what's a good mild smoke already - a few names already... going to check a couple of local shops before I go purchasing online for some.

Need a good lighter as well...

Any working lighter will do. Mine came with a cutter, but I already had 2. Usually you can get a cheap/free cutter at most good cigar shops - the advertising one's with the name of the cigar shop on 'em... I may pick up a punch someday. I have no problems with cutting them though.
Did you get the cherry or rosewood humidor?
What's on your list so far?
