I like the smoke of a maduro .... I like a stick that I KNOW I'm smoking but not so heavy that it's like lead ... ya know?

I generally prefer maduro, but sometimes I like to go for the lighter stuff. Just to shake things up a bit.

Sweet! My Cuban Crafters humidor came - what a beautiful box! The cherrywood finish will fit perfect with our bar (everything is cherrywood stained). Nice call, Bogie! Didn't get a cutter but they did throw in one Don Kiki Green Label cigar though.

Funny, my most memorable cigar moment was when I was in Germany. My company commander, CPT Lyle, had this tradition - the night before our gunnery qualification run we would sit and smoke one cigar, drink one beer and eat Oreo cookies... lol... all this while watching Battle Of The Bulge.

It was entertaining to say the least.

Gotta go set up this thing - didn't know these things needed calibration... lol...

^ Glad to hear you like it! When I get some extra cash, I'll get one myself.

smoked a Rocky Patel Cuban Blend tonight with 2 liter bottles of Stones 'Arrogent Bastard'. Enjoyed it, probably would have more if not for the 2 bottles of beer that sorta numbed me up a little. good night though

ahem... seems I went a touch overboard on cigarbids.com... lol...

My new humidor holds only 100... yet...

24 Gurkha Royal brigades (2 sets of 12)
20 Gurkha Grand Age Perfecto
5 Fonseca Habana Seleccion Cadetes
30 Cohiba Red Dot Pequenos
5 5 Vegas Classic Fifty-Five
5 601 Serie Box Pressed Maduro Topedo
20 Bahia Blu E652 Torpedo
5 Rocky Patel Torpedo

That's like 114... lol...

Guess I'll have plenty to share with. The humidor's primed and ready to go.

I had a CAO Vision yesterday it was very good. I was somewhat skeptical about spending 15 bucks on it but CAO has yet to dissapoint me. BTW if any of you are ever in Pittsburgh drop by the Leaf and Bean in the strip district. They really know how to keep their humidor. I had no idea how poorly the humidor at the store near my school was kept until I had a puff off my friend's Rock Patel Vintage 1990. It was the best Rocky I ever smoked.
