Cold Heat
my new/used audi a6 manual does not explain how to get the heat to come on. The Auto feature seems to work but never gets warm, and i don't know if it's my settings or it is not working. Nights are getting chilly here.

Adjust the temperature all the way up. It should say something like HI on the display.
Also you need to wait until the engine gets warmer for the heat to kick in. |

Cold heat
Thank you--I did see that was not sure if it would work. :o

You're talkin bout MY solution, RIIIIIIIIIGHT?!?!?!
|
^ Oddly enough Jazz, your solution was in my owners' manual.
|
The temp controls in Audis are goofy. It's 50 outside and you want heat so you put the temp to 70, but it blows cold. Like said earlier, crank the thing all the way up if you want heat.
|
I usually find that setting it to 75 gives me heat.

I can't show the pictures! TOO GRAPHIC!!! |
Then certainly don't look at the pics in the first aid kit. Ever read that fold out pamphlet? More or less says at one point, if you don't think the injured person is gonna make it, just be quiet and let them die with dignity. geez....
