just go to a book store.. and just flip through something that looks good.. that usually works.. there is one called "How to cook everything" My GF.. is recomending that for ya!

Hit yor local Mall. Swing by Waldenbooks. Head for the "Discount books" section, usually near the fron of teh store, somewhere. I GUARANTEE you'll find cookbooks. Speciality cookbooks. General cookbooks. Desserts. Ethnic. All for a few dollars each, at MOST. Don't tell my family but, last year, all teh cookbooks I gave out this past xmass, something like 20, in all, cost me less than $50.00 TOTAL!!!

You know... rather than buying a cookbook, i'd recommend subscribing to like Cooking Light or one of the other cooking magazines. They always have pictures and the instructions are always pretty easy to follow. I get most of my recipes from Cooking Light, and to be honest, you can't tell any of the stuff is "light" and half of it i would never even consider "light"..... everyone I cook for always begs to come back over and/or have the recipe.
