Default costco gas

i know costco is up in the bay area and down here in san diego but dont know about the rest of the country. does anyone know about the fuel quality? someone told me its good but for the price i gotta wonder. i was checkin gas prices for all of sd right now and the costco in chula vista (broadway, not h street) is like $.20 cheaper than anywhere else...

I'd probably buy it. It's likely got a lot of ethenol in it... but who knows. I'm in Canada, and to my knowledge, Costco doesn't sell gas here.

There are a few Costco's around the 513. There gas quality is probably up to regulation, but you know you wont get anything extra like BP or Shell add. But at the same time, it probably wont kill your engine.

ya knowing costco's business philosophy i would say its just fine, ceartainly not Shell or BP like Cab said but i know about costco's company and they do things well

a funny little fact about costco just so you get an idea of how much they value things other than just executive profits. you know those stupid Re-planet facilities where all the bums go to get some change for there booze, well it is required that all grocery stores(atleast in CA) have one of those in there lots otherwise they are fined by the state every month. Costco ignores there rule and justpays that fee to the government every monthin orderto keep the bums and garbage that they bring around off there property.

Costco is anexcellent company, for anyone thinking about working there.

Have never seen a costco station on the entire east coast.

I usually fill up with BP or Shell, and usually pay a couple cents more, but who makes the "Best Gas" What makes the Best gas. Someone more educated on the subject should fill in us uninformed.

i dont think theres a "best gas" per say..
i think its all the same from the refinery (ithink?)

and then shell / chevron etc. add all the detergents / cleaners in it to add to the cost & make it
more efficient / cleaner burning etc.
