i'm gonna be takin my baby all the way from the bay area to boston in october...it was my little bro's idea, he's doing most of the planning, but i'll be doing most of the driving....i'm gonna try to stop by as many af guys' places as i can, have a drink or twelve....i'll update this thread to let you guys know where i'll be going and when...not too many details at this point, we just came up with the idea a few days ago...

I've driven my car from Cali to Hilton Head, SC, then back to Cali when I changed my mind about moving to South Carolina. Then a year later I changed my mind again and moved to South Carolina for good (or until I change my mind again) so drove it the whole way back to Charleston, SC. It was soooooooooooo much fun. Especially the last time, I went with my best friend and we did unbelievable stuff, harrassed the locals, wore cowboy hats the whole way, got chased and stalked by some guy in a semi, spend 400 dollars on alcohol in one night in new orleans (actually met a guy there driving a jetta he bought at the VW place on stevens creek blvd, it had the dealer plate on it and everything), stayed at a really ghetto casino in nevada..... i could list stuff all night.... you'll have sooooooo much fun. Two nights before the last trip though, my battery died and had to have my car jumped by a tow truck cuz a regular car wouldn't do it, and ended up having to replace the battery very last minute. I'm so glad it happened before leaving though, some of the places you'll drive though, only recognize Ford as a type of car they can work on. Have a lot of fun though and take lots of pictures.
i'm sure my brother's got a couple places he'll want to stop along the way...i'm ending in boston cause that's where the ocean starts...lol, na, it's cause my bro has a couple friends going to school in boston next year...
