did you feel the earth move?
there was a 5.2 earthquake about 130 miles east of st louis at 4:36 a.m and lasted for about 20 -30 seconds. i happened to be awake at the time so i knew exactly what it was.
pretty cool. doesn't happen much here in the midwest. the news said it was 7 miles underground.

omg JUST NOW....ANOTHER ONE. ABOUT THE SAME AS BEFORE!!!!
news just said this one was 4.5.
i know it's no biggie to the california people, but us midwesterners aren't use to this.
we're tornado people, not earthquake people.

Felt it on top of my hill in the Ohio valley.
I thought it was a tornado because the house makes that noise when the wind is pounding it.
Then realized there was no storm. ?
Then I figured it was a UFO do a fly by and started looking for a class of water to throw on any aliens that might still be around. But the dog didn't even bark so figured I was safe.
Your first earthquake is definitely an experience...
I lived in the San Francisco Bay area in 89 when we had the huge earthquate that broke part of the bay bridge. I'm pretty sure that was a 7.1?
