digital camera nerds, i just ordered this point and shoot..
I never had personal experience with that one but I had the LX5 for quite a bit.
I loved the wide angle that such a small camera can produce. Also manual mode is pretty good and almost comparable to DSLR. However, my only complaint for the LX5 was the ability for night shootings. There were times the camera didn't pick up all of the colors which resulted in missing pixels.
All in all, IMO Panasonics make pretty good P&S cameras (also with the support of Leica). It's no DSLR but it will do when you don't feel like carrying a big camera with you. The results overall are far from the usual P&S cameras.
