ya now it exploded well the turbo did but it was really really fast

ah great i just found a small bottle of skyy maybe i will wake up and it will have magically fixed it self. funny thing about is when i put my first t3t4 on my audi it blew the first day and now the FP Red blew the fist day after it went on. seems im just prone to blowing the first bt i put on my cars.

So what was the problem here? Maybe the easy tuning wasn't proper tuning? What happened here?

no the tuning was fine, solid afr and no knock. turbo went out in under 50 miles. guess it was just a bad turbo from the factory. here are some pics after its short life. there is up, down, left, and right shaft movement but no in or out...

did you by any chance break the turbo in at all most i've seen like 11 heat cycles and like 500 miles before you can really beat on them, if there not broke in that is what happens

this turbo does not need to be broken in. once it has oil and water in it your good to go.

at least it didn't grenade and end up eating valves/pistons too. Guy I know had a spark plug burn up, and a piece broke off, ate a valve, which then ate the hot side of the turbo. So yeah, at least your trouble is only with the turbo.

ya well even if the turbo blew all the way up it would be very very hard to get into the motor. cant make it past the fmic. i swapped it out today with my stock one and this one is being sent off to get replaced
