FAFSA federal aid
Hey does anyone know what the maximum amount of money made in a year to qualify for FAFSA? My brother thinks its $12,000, so if I was to make more than that I could not get any money from FAFSA, does anyone know if this is true or not?

it all depends... they dont give you an actual dollar amount after you fill it out. It depends on if your parents still claim you on taxes, and a bunch of other stuff.
I did a program called A+, where the state will pay for 2 free years of community college. The program rules say that you have to fill out a FAFSA each year, to make sure that the fed govt wont pay for you first. Even tho I only work about 30 hours a week, and am not claimed by my parents on their taxes, I still dont get federal aid.. I think its more of a combination of income, taxes, and deductions.
