RE: Final Car Buying decision....
I would go with the A4.
It's almost as fast as a stock S4 anyway.
It will get a little better gas mileage.
It also has less miles on it and it's newer.
The S4 is obviously sweet and very desirable but in the end I think it will cost more to own.
I personally would want an A4 with a manual transmission though.
(Just read your crash post)
^So yeah tiptronic is fine too.
If you learn how to drive a manual it's a lot more fun though.

ok so my friend test drove the S4 and OMG does that thing PULL! you can tell it has been in an accident because of a brand new headlight and the front bumper was off by like 1/4"... but under the hood everything looked good and the turbos sounded AWSOME! I test drove the A4 also and I loved the luxury look of it... but its no S4... c'mon ppl I need advice!!

lol the s4s are amazing but just think about when the turbos go and you have to fork out 4 grand for parts alone not to mention how much it would be fore someone to pull the motor out and put the new turbos on... but hey if you have money then s4 another down with the s4 is 16 mpgish and with premium reaching 4 bucs a gallon woo that expensive too, it comes down to if you have the moneyto run one, i tried to tell my buddy that when he bought his and hes findin out the hard way lol had to do the timing belt wheel bearing tie rod and come to find out a cam shaft has a little piece broken out of it which cut the seal and causes an oil leak
