Besides the cool b-day gifts some of the socal audi members got me, my girlfriend got me a universal remote. This thing is the shiznit, hooked it up to my pc via usb and programmed it. Now I only have to push one button to turn my tv and satellite receiver, or the dvd button and my tv's volume automatically sets to 0, my dvd player and audio receiver turns on..........it's freakin sweet

That thing is pretty pimp, Logitech makes some good equipment. I'll have to look into that as well.

I think that it needs to have a touch sensor and an alarm if any "unauthorized" individuals touch it. Maybe a proximity sensor when somebody reaches for it and a voice over by Clint Eastwood saying, "don't even think about it, punk!" LOL
