Default G-tech pro?

My friend let me borrow his G-Tech Pro Comp., but im having a real b**** of a time trying to calibrate it. I cant seem to get the rpm's to read steady. I got it close last night with having the head lights on and ran a 6.5 sec. 0-60 but the rpms are just a little under the real deal.

Anyone use these before on their Audi that can shed some light on this?

[:'(] oooh - I know evoic on here tried that thing..
its an accelrometer - so its super sensitive & if u have any bumps along the way
that throws anything off - it just throws the reading off wack...

let us know if u get it to work for you...

I've used them before and found it to be a real PITA and the readouts varied so much that it was no better than me guessing. Well, that's my opinion.

My friend had it in his G35 and it was pretty accurate. 14.8-14.5sec. 1/4 mile times. In the calibration instructions it says sometimes a car does not give a strong signal for rpms so you need to run some electric components when using it.

lol there is this late 90's eclipse that always make's it a point to circle my culdisac, except yesterday when i was sitting at the end of the drive. He started to pull out to come my way, stopped waited a few sec. and went the opposite way.

LOL i wonder the same thing some times.

The best is when a thread is like 10-20 posts long, and he jumps in from left field following up with 1 of these. [sm=icon_ladiesman.gif]
