So the US and Canada are paying too much.

How about the European members? With the rise in the Euro, against the USD, are prices lower, in EUs.

USD are falling against all the currencies, except the few, like China, who peg theirs to the dollar.

Good grief, unless the Turks have revalued, they've appreciated by about a thousand fold.

Mebbe the good old greenback is getting to be a worthless piece of paper.

Cheers,

George

ps: I've asked at other forums for prices of different products in different countries. Staples, necessities, fuels, etc.

Those answers I have gotten, show prices here in the US to be outrageous.

A kilo of lamb or veal, 2.2 pounds, 95 Indian Rupees, less than 2 USD, whereas the US price is more like 10 USD per POUND!!!

Anyone want to add to this list?

Be my guest.

$2.35 for 91oct. That's damn high for us..but I'd say its still nuthin like europe pays. Those oil companies are sure makin a mint now! Supply and Demand I guess..this is just a captialist society backfiring..oh well..time to invest in a hybrid for day to day driving[8D]

(average 28.5mpg highway)
