basically its an octane booster so has no value in terms of fuel pump prices or economy so all its doing is ( nothing ) when you can buy 98ron and higher from the pumps anyway so what is the saving, its all down to the price per gallon/liter

So i decided to figure out how much these things would save you if they really work as claimed... it is interesting.. Oh and they are 2 bucks per pill. That cost is figured into the savings.
ok, it has been a while since i have done math so bare with me on this...
Also this is based off of what I pay for gas and my average MPG and MPT (Miles per tank). Please keep in mind that I use premium gas in my car.
SO here we go:
W/Out Gas Pill:
Full Tank on Average: $48
Price Per Gallon: $3.42 (last time I filled up)
Gallons: 14
Average MPT: 275 (City Driving)
Average MPG: 19.3
Now with that all in mind here is what I figured:
If the pill is $2 per tank then I just added that to the normal fill. So it is now $50 per fill.
This is also based off of the gains they showed on the commercial.
W/Gas Pill:
Full Tank on Average: $50
Price Per Gallon: $3.42
Gallons: 14
Average MPT: 364
Average MPG: 26
Difference between MPT w/out pill and w/pill: 89Miles
To get an additional 89 miles from my car by filling it up would take another 4.61gal. At $3.42 per gallon that would cost me another $15. So total to get the same amount of miles from my car w/out the gas pill would be $63.
So i have no idea if that made any sense to any of you but whatever. But basicly to get the same amount of miles out of my car without the pill would cost me an additional $15 a week. So your looking at a savings of about $60 a month or $720 a year. Not bad if you ask me... As long as it doesn't ruin your engine.
