To help out JET I offered to take over the decal production for the site! The decals are coming fast!!!! The 1st "test" decal should be coming tomorrow-ish! I ran with pretty much the same size/font/colors as the old decal. If you don't know what that is it's kinda like this... it's roughly 6.5inches x 1.5 inches. Any changes to the idea let me know ideas ASAP! not sure if you can see the font but it's a silver color.

Mass production is cheapest but even with say me ordering 100 decals that's a huge chunk of change for me right now! So I want to make sure we have a "Majority" liking the decal! I was thiking on a side note about maybe under the "udiforums.com" next to the big A maybe putting "Moderator" or "Admin" for those fitting or maybe "usernames" just tossing around ideas! of course things like that cost extra do to they each have to be made separate...

 

Where can I sign up to buy a couple decals. I'm excited...been waiting for a hot minute!

 

As soon as I like em and get a final price. I don't want to take orders just yet due to the cost issue. To save you guys $$$ they are printing me 2 styles of decal. One that is every single letter cut out no back grounds nothing, but cost more. The 2nd will still be a vinyl but one solid piece that has a clear background. It's not noticeable on fishbowl cars or tints less than 35% i could kind of see the line on the end of the decal on the 5% window but barely. BUT the one solid decal is going to be A LOT cheaper than the other. I want you guys to have the decal but at the same time not have to pay an arm and leg for it! On a side note you will be only paying cost so hopefully everyone can get on bored!


Another note. What about a general location like say passenger side wing windows so when we are at meets/riding together everyone knows those bad *** cars are from audiforums... or am I just a loser?! :P

 

just a tease- just got off the phone with a professional illustrator (who owes me one) who is going to attempt a design I thought up. If all works out I might have it made just for ***** and giggles! I will say I am awesome!


Edit- Well I made a quick set up of what we had in mind but once seen on paper it wont work as a wing window vinyl it's just to small and would be a pita to make! If someone was a die hard AF'r this could make a sweet rear window design! but yeah here is what our rough draft was! Just to give you an idea!

OK guys just woke up and the shop met me at work with the final pieces. I decided it down to one. That I think overall will be the most versatile. It is a one piece logo. Will come looking like this.

Then you peal back like so. Place full thing on car.

Once compelete. Paper should seperate from the decal and BLAM! You ballin' AF Style!

The clear is barely noticeable on 5% tint, and that's being right on top of it.

The guy left the price sheet at his shop and I should know by noon today final cost! Any questions or complaints speak now cuz once I order these there is no going back! As you can see I couldn't wait and already put it on my car! One thing I noticed is once it's on don't try and pull it back up (could tear or stretch) so once you start to apply there is no real going back! If putting on a back wing VERY CAREFULLY trim the the clear from infront of the red and behind them M. So what do ya'll think? and be honest you wont hurt my feelings!
