Wine, so they say, represents civilization. I think highly of people who know a great deal about wine. I took to drinking wine after I had a few swig of Claret. After that there was no proselyting needed for me to stock up on wine. It reminds me of France, and that little excursion we had on the outskirts of the country. At home in the States it is not entirely unlike that trip. We drove to California, busted a radiator and had it replaced as wine bottles covered the floor of the motel. But, somehow when I look at a bottle of wine and know that it is good, I think of France and it is somewhat always with me.
