I mostly agree with everyone else here. Go through school first, find a more stable job, then start your own life.

BTW congrats on the new Audi job.

22 and loving free rent hahahahahahahah

I'm working 42.5 hours a week getting paid 40 and bringing home 280 a week after taxes....... I wouldn't dream of moving out completely on my own making this. Paying $100 for my phone, $71 for my insurance, ~$200 for gas, and a lot of MISC. I could make it but I wouldn't have anything for car repairs...........

I concur. Stay at home as long as u can. Use that time to start saving. Plan on having at least 5 grand in the bank before u move out incase of rainy days. Notice i said days cuz when it rains it always seems to pour.

$280 a week!? God damn, this is a very good example of why you should stay home. Even when i made $400 a week i found it hard to live on my own (with roomates) in arizona in my late teens, in fact, it sucked.
I would say the threshold for leaving is around $600 per week (take home after tax) thats the bare minimum, depending on what state you live in of course.

I just realized, $280/week is about what I was taking home, in my 1st REAL job as a Tuexedo rental Store Manager, back in 1985... Almost decent money, for teh time, except I was married... with a kid on teh way... and teh job had 0 benefits...

I joined teh Army...

The rest is history!!!

more the reason why school is important. i'm in grad school and currently being funded. i'm bring home just as much as (somebody) and i'm living at home. although i have almost zero time to enjoy my life, i'm able to afford my car payment, insurance, phone and credit card spending. sometimes i'll have money left over, sometimes i won't but i'm not worried about that right now. the return i'll be getting when i graduate is exponentially greater than the amount of less freedom, limited "me" time and limited amount of money. between my funded project and classes, i put in about 120 hours per week if not more. no i don't sleep very much lately for a 22 yr old. i rly wish i slept more so i could actually present myself to all the loose freshman tail running around campus this year. but no worries, more girls are turning their attention to geeks/nerd : D
