went to giant (grocery store) yesterday, and parked next to a nice S4 (b5), as i was walking into the store i saw a guy and his wife/gf coming out of the store. he was walking right towards the S4, so i figured it was his. as he passed by, he said "nice car"
i was a little distracted, so i only managed, "thanks. your's too"
the situation made me smile though. what other car manufacturer creates such a bond between it's customers?

I do my best to park next to other Audis too... I actually started doing this because of my dad's advise that you should always park next to a car as nice or nicer than your own to make sure your doors don't get dented/scratched. But it sure does look nice to see a couple Audis parked all in a row.

at the golf course there was 2 parked next to each other so i decided to park on the s4s side so there were 3 parked next to each other. It was a 1.8T B6, S4 B6, My 2.8 B5

definitely true what toff is saying. i had a jeep.. holy crap, talk about fanatical owners. they have the window stickers that actually say,"Its a Jeep thing, you wouldn't understand". then i bought my bimmer, and i tend to get a smile and a wave from other bimmers. also, my history teacher owned three bimmers, so me and him got a long really well because we had something in common (A+ in that class).

Exactly. People seem to think only they know about the waving, and all that, is in their own marque, but it just ain't true!
Be glad you are an audi fan, because there are fan clubs out there for the worst cars on the planet... mainly Vauxhall Nova's, and fiat 126's!!
