ahhh can't wait to play this.

 

Played it at my friends house last night. It's definatly a lot different then previous GTA titles, it takes some getting used to. The cars are a lot harder to drive and everything feels slower, though it's for the good. I like how if you start something, the cops will investigate the scene too.

Also, the details are amazing, drivers checking their mirrors, shooting someone in the leg will cause them to stumble and then fall and then try to get up but only fall, bullet holes, shooting people in the car makes then lean over the steering wheel. I also really like the cover system. It's fun to get in a shootout with the cops and they set up a road block and take cover. Seriously, this game is way more realistic.

Speaking of realistic, I think it's really funny how you can get hit by cars and take damage, like your body will go flying sometimes. Haha. Last night I got hit by a car in the right lane, slid up on the hood and then the car that hit me rear ended an ambulance, I got pinned between the two cars and died. My body wasn't on the ground, it was still off the ground but pinned, haha.

Have you guys gone into the safehouse and watched TV? They have some hilarious ads running.

yeah GTA IV is really addictive! me and my friend have been playing everynight from 9-5am then get up at around play till 10-2 go to class and come back and play haha.. we usually dont play games like this but its fun! so realistic its fun trying to figure out where we are in the city too...but its annoying sometimes getting hit by a car or crashing on a bike and dying i mean its realistic but its still a game i geuss thats why they let you keep your guns which is also really cool! haha

 

Yeah I really like how you are able to keep all your guns.

 

I go down for knee surgery this friday so I will be playing it non-stop until I am healed. Haha, just bought the PS3 for GT5 and GTA4, life is good [sm=roll.gif]

 

I keeo gettig my *** kicked in pool by michelle.... oh and Its hilarious when your speeding and hit a tree or something head on and you go through the windshield and fly a few feet. and driving a bike while drunk is SCARY

 

lovin it! only about 20% through it, but i have all day tomorrow off so i'm gonna keep workin at it! lol.

 

I just spend the ENTIRE DAY playing this game (day off) and I'm only like 15%... but I did get michele to like me 100%

 

What are most of you guys playing on, Xbox or PS3? I'm thinking about getting a new console and this game will be one of the main deciding factors.
