Ok so this saturday my car was hit by someone in my parking lot. no cameras and one wittness. there was a note left on the car next to mine becuase it was also hit. the note said "ok, i saw who hit your car. silver jetta plate 763 BSX. and also hit the white mit. evolution beside you" they didnt leave their name or phone number so i have no way of contacting them. i went to the police who searched the plate number but came up with nothing. so i went to the tcu police who also ran the plate but came up with nothing. both people said they cant do anything because it was on private property. so i figured the person wrote the wrong plate number down. tcu ran the first 3 numbers and it came up with 7 hits. well they are being lame and wont tell me who owns the cars that are a match. any one with advice to help me find these guys or what to do. i drove around and looked in all teh parking lots but didnt find any car that had damage or matched the plate or make/model.

 

Make friends with a cop or someone who knows a cop fast. They can run plate searches at any time.

 

yes we tired that but it didnt come up as anything.

That's so weak. All I can think of is they may come back but park in another area so look out some more, other than that, contact the DMV.

 

well our deductable on insurance is 1000 bucks and i know it wont cost that much. a new bumper is 600 so if its more then that to fit ill just get a new one. o well the search ontinues[:@]
