I feel your pain about looking for a car group, not a social group. Been there a hundred times. Met some dub guys the other night who needed vag-com help for a car that wouldn't start. No codes, and it wouldn't fire at all. They'd been messing with it for 2 days. I asked if they checked to see if the plugs were wet... pretty basic. NOPE. As it turns out, fuel pump fuse was blown. The thing you would have checked after seeing the plugs were dry. They're alright guys, but points off for using a shop and not DIY.

 

Sineo, I'm all set for ya to move to VT. One bedroom cottage on the lake fell thru, putting a deposit on a 2 bedroom. Split rent, $450/month/person.

 

$450 a month! I can't even find that in Houston! I'm there.

 

And to think, this is practically ON Lake Champlain. All you have to do is cross the street, and you're 30 feet from the water. Beautiful view.

im hesitant about putting an ad out for a roommate, most people are not a good match.

Someone with a tuned Audi is a match. But we've already covered that issue. Social scene, no real wrenchers...
