One of my friends used to drink a weight watchers milkshake in addition to normal meals every day. It's better than eating just junk food for the calories cause it at least has some good stuff in it.

if you have a high metabolism, try eating more carbs.

I was under the impression that creatine slows down your bodies natural production of lactic acid... lactic acid produces "the burn!".

So, less lactic acid, means you can work out harder, and longer, before you start to fatigue (feel the burn!).

Hence you grow bigger. But yes, you do retain a lot of water, as well.

im the skinnyest kid ull ever meet. im 5'11, 135-140 pounds! Im also 20 yr olds. Its not like i dont eat, i eat....alot. I play hockey every week, i roller blade everyday, run/bike. and nothing. i cant gain weight its a little pathtic. my friends nicknamed me halocost or skinny. i need to gain weight (i used weightgainers.....no good)

If you digest enough carbs you will gain weight. It just sounds like you require alot more than average.
Plus workout of course.

slow your meals down
eat bigger, fewer meals

eat rice before bed.

Hit the gym and lift
don't touch cardio.

Eat a 50/25/25 carb/fat/protein


do this for a month.


Keep log, daily.

actully u r supposed to eat more, smaller meals. U should eat 6 meals a day. abcbodybuilding.com has amazinga articles and a great forum.

thanks for all the info guys! i guess if i want to start gaining weight i'm just going to have to start hitting up the gym, and stop hitting up the climbing gym. i usually climb everyday after work, and i love it, but i know it's not helping me gain any muscle mass, so i guess i'll just swap one for the other. and i'll try taking protein shakes and the like in the evenings. thanks again, guys!
