(deep breath)

2. 49 Ford Deluxe V-8 convertible; mad Flathead pimp sled.
9. 65 Pontiac GTO; too beaten up to be worth restoring, but ran ok.
10. 58 Cadillac Series 62 two door; pristine but still a daily driver if you can imagine that, disgustingly cool, I had sex in this car more than the rest combined.
12. 51 Ford two door; again, mad whack old school style, 327 Chevy SB, body completely shaved, DeSoto grill, red and black interior, flames down the side, functional lake pipes, 13.9 in the 1/4.
13. 95 Lincoln Town Car; I bought this with the intent of putting the Ford 460 truck engine in and having the ultimate sleeper, instead, I got gray hair, voted Republican, ate mozza *****, shopped at Sam's Club and retired to Florida.
15. 02 Ford Lightning; fastest damned truck ever, still daily this one, 13.7 in the 1/4.
I just realized, given the demographics of this board, KarGuy and AWDaholic are probably the only ones who will appreciate half of the cars in my stable...
.
I'm surprised at the sleds - you didn't seem the type. Ahhh - a renaissance man! There's a whole culture of those guys up in the Glendale area of L.A.
Memories of the '65 GTO - my brother-in-law bought one right out of high school. For a green 16-yr old kid, it scared the bejeebers out of me... and I was just a pessenger. My sister has fond memories of it also - for other reasons.
....So THAT'S what happens when you buy a Town Car..........sucks the 'cool' right out of 'ya.
Since you sold the M5, is the Lightning your daily driver now?
You're fortunate you had the ability to do different projects. For me, I've got all these 'plans' in my head, but no $$$ to get them done.

'93 Pontiac Grand AM, first car cheap @ 74k miles was in great shape.
'96 Chevy Cavalier, replaced the grand am after it got smashed, this car was a royal POS.
'03 A4, V6, sport, tip

Not much of a list but i'm young. I'll probably pick up a RS4 once I get this car paid off. 5 yrs. I'd like to get a boat in 10-12 years but that means I'll have to buy a truck too.

you have lived the life!!!
I wouldn't say that. They're just cars. As much as I like them, I wouldn't define my living by any amount of cars. And it's not that I'm just rollin in the dough either, I just don't spend money on anything but strippers, radio control crap, and cars.

Yeah, I lived in Norco for a short while and that's what really got me hooked on the old steel. Then I kind took a break from classics and have been on a rather modern kick lately, but it's not gone. I still want to get a 64 Continental conv and drop a Lightning engine in it.

The Lightning is the daily, no matter what I get to try to replace it, I just love my truck too much.
