Well I can't say I've received any yet but I only got a year of drivingunder my belt and I'm not driving a sports car (yet).

If you have any tips on how to avoid getting a ticket, post them here. What do you think you could have done (besides not speeding) to haveavoided the ticket(s)?

 

i have had about 10 tickets, but i won each and everyone of them in court. cept, my last speeding ticket in my mustang lol

 

dont get me wrong, im almost 25, so 10 tickets in 9 years isnt too bad, is it

 

How did you manage that?

 

Dress VERY professional, preferrable a skirt.
And talk till you cant talk no more, they will be begging you to stop, and be convinced that your harmless helps if you have ***** too :giggle

 

3 so far, non in over a year.

Last one i got was just plain stupidity. but its all off my record so its all good. fortunate to know some people.

 

2 for me. only one in the audi though. 87 in a 65. OO oOO oO oO O [8D] chipper followed me for 5 miles when he was 2-3 miles behind me the whole time [:'(]
and one in the old 4runner when iwas a kid doing pulling a california stop. soo lucky for just that ticket though....i couldve goteen alot more[sm=bustedsign.gif]

 

Only one, coming back from a wedding in Lake Geneva WI. 75 in a 55. Didn't notice that the speed limit went from 65 to 55 near the border and got busted 1/4 mile from the Minnesota border. At the time you had to pay your ticket right then and there or they hauled you in. Luckily I had a credit card they could run; if I had to pay by check, they would have locked me up until the check cleared - the next day. It was about 11pm on a Sunday. It was like $75 or something. He wrote it for 74 so I wouldn't have to be automatically arrested. I was with my wife (now ex) in a 1989 Honda Civic Wagon. Guess he thought we didn't look like the criminal type.

 

So sad but true. I have a REALLY hot friend that gets pulled over and she works her magic to get out of tickets everytime. That sickens me...

That only works for me if it is a female cop, which there arent many!

 

UK have different laws ( each catch = £60/$120 ) and 3 point, 12/3 points = ban
