RE: how much money?
Bought my car for 15800 + taxes from a porsche dealership.
2000 1.8QTM with about 70 000 km, or 45K miles.
money invested: $0.
well... stereo has money into it, but I dont wanna add that up. Nothing performance -- the car came chipped already. This weekend it might see a short shifter, or sway bars -- not sure where to put the $.

RE: how much money?
It cost me $32,000 when I purchased my car new in January 2003. I traded in my older car and got $8,000 for it, and I laid out $24,000 cash. Since then, the only "mod" I have done to my car is the installation of XM Radio, which cost me $300 installation and $10 per month subscription.
When I joined this forum back in late January of 2003 (I think), you guys recommended that I wait to mod until the warranty expired, then start with a chip. So that's what I'm thinking of doing, unless I purchase a full 50,000 mile extended warranty for $3,400, and focus on getting a 1200 Harley. Decisions, decisions...
