So i finally broke down and bought a radar detector after a close call yesterday, but lucky i saw him before i got to the intersection he was at and just made a right turn before i got to him and then made a bunch of turns in the neighbor hood, and then hoped on the freeway. Not sure if he was going to pull me over but i know he saw me and i know i was doing 45 in a 30.

 

That's what I've got. It works. Always helps to have other speeders around too.

 

yea, ive found the best is to watch the speeding big rigs, b/c they get info from the other trucks ahead of them, so if i see one that has been speeding (or what to them is speeding) and he slows down i do to just incase.

I got it on ebay for 250 (i got the blue one so it will stick out more inside the car at night since everything else is red)

 

The red one's are actually cheaper, you should have waited on that one. They charge like $20 more for the blue one's new.

 

i know, they had a million of both, but i wnated the blue. And they charge more b/c blue LEDs actually cost more than red ones (although not as much as the difference is).

It was only a $20 difference, and i thouht since im spending this much more i mine as well get the color i would like. I think it will help me notice the detector more.
