You should come back to the b5 side foo.

 

I'd get a b6 A4 Avant, or an A6 avant which has already been suggested. You're going to get hosed when you trade it in, though... so that licks. I'd be after a b6 a4 avant though, as my #1 realistic pic. Preferably a 2004+ with a 6 spd.

 

How much, if any, are you going to be upside down on the B7?

 

A6 avant, is all I can say.

I love my B6 and am a homeowner, too. I do alot of projects and find that I can fit a lot in my car. I can put 8' boards inside and close the trunk but always use a moving blanket to protect the interior. I also have a tow hitch on my car and use a small trailer for larger stuff.

I also have a F250 diesel I payed $600 for to use on "dirty" stuff.

I love having a sedan and in particular my B6. I think you'll suffer in performance and handling with any SUV. I know that this doesn't solve the payment problems but personally I'd get a used B5 or B6. An Avant or AllRoad may be a reasonable option.

unless you are really needing a truck, please just get an Avant. that would make us all much happier. (like you should care, HAHA)
