Sure. That car has roots that go all the way back the the RS200 and then later the Merkur(in the US). I dont know why Ford doesn't produce a small displacement turbo AWD car in the US and market it with a rally car video game or something. I think it would sell just like the WRX and Evo if they made a quick little car.

Funny I remember seeing a Euro Taurus - it was nothing like the US model and had more power too - but that was back in '86/89. I know the Focus is essentially the Escort euro-style - but with Cosworth under the hood? Holy sleeper shizit, Batman. Can you imagine pulling one of those up to the line here? Many a jaw would drop, I'm sure... lol
