Nice choice, but I dont know if I would want to be stuck in traffic surrounded by Excursions and H3's.

I'd put $30K into MODS of my D2

6-speed manny tranny $12K (est)
misc parts & labour $3K (est)
chip, parts & labour $2K (est)
19's & gummi $5k (est)
repairs to all the miscellaneoous nicks & dings $6K (est)
Hottie to hold down the righthand seat cover while I floss & profile $2K (actual)
BJ's while I roll through YOUR neighborhood: PRICELESS!!!

I want you to follow your heart and all that, but if you are up to $30K in work, then you may want to consider a different car. Don't tell her I said that though.

Technically, about $25K is for schitt I DON'T need, well, except the Hottie. That'd be $$$ I'd blow on stoopit schitt like oil changes and swapping the Air in my tires, anyway, so I may as well go for seatcover upgrades, right?

ZedEx, an NSX is a $90,000 car. Not exactly in the same price range.

In fact, most of you guys' responses have posted cars that are $10,000+ above the cost of an A4.

Personally I think Id go with a G35 or a 350z. I was really asking for cars being sold NEW.
You're telling me a 1991 NSX is $90,000? I've seen them go as low as $13,500 on Honda-Tech.

And I don't think anyone really knew you were talking about NEW cars. But if the car HAD to be new:

-2006 Honda Civic Si... Full HFP (Honda Factory Performance) Edition, with Full-Race ProAm Stage I 400 Turbocharger System, Thermal R&D 3" Exhaust, and I'd drive that thing forever.
