well this thread sure has been a riot... literally. great fun guys.

i'm a fan of the Fbodys, especially a firehawk... mmmmm.. the guys on HorsePower TV did a build up on project "LSgun" and it was pretty sweet. i say if you want a straight line rumble, get the Fbody, if you want a refined driving experience, go german.

^^^ For you my friend

Firehawk and my sexy lady at track two years ago

another view near the air port one day before I went flying, after a nice wash and wax

you can bash the girl, but don't bash the car.

Thank you ahead of time.

Heinzanova, would u be willing grow some ***** and race toms car with ur outstanding stang, or camaro? Or whatever other piece of **** you drive? It can be video tape and on the forums for eberyone to see just how much of a *** u really are.
Audiboy1618, I have an Audi (thus I am on this board) and a 1st Gen DSM, I would be more than happy to race him with my talon, as I am not making performance mods on my audi. I highly doubt I would be trolling on this message board, looking for an eThug argument, for any reason dispite I own an Audi and wish to understand my German car. I have done lost of work on Japanese and some Domestic vehicals.

Seeing you have not taken the time to understand I do not own a stang, or camaro (used to own a firehawk).

Anyways, what wrong with mullets guys? Haven't you heard? Business up front, party in the rear... no fun at all.

I will get back to the post I made about my experiance with GM's 350 Small blocks in the past, a little bit later.

Right now I need to take a minute and appologize for calling tom a idiot, I was not in knowledge at the time of what he had done, or his achievements, I went to his car domain site, and looked around and back logged searched some of his stuff before I decided whether or not to make a follow up post to this massive flame war that has started. It is true, I did and still don't know Tom, but with out having known him, being new, I figured his post calling them crap was something from the stand point of the typical message board kiddie (much like some replies seen above).

Typically I don't give that many props for people doing their own maintenance (since I have owned a few DSMs on which everything always breaks) but when I saw he was doing it in a parking lot, wow...

Anyways Tom and I can settle our flame war, if he wishes to continue, outside of this topic.

My post was mainly to explain, that since the person was looking at them, what MY take and Personal experiance with F-Bodies (certain ones) have been. But at the same time, I felt it important to address all cars deserve respect for one aspect or another.

Audis :
Luxary, Style, German, High Tech, Handling
Mad props for that, but at the same time people can turn around and be like oh well all that high tech **** is a pain in the *** and over complicates something, very true. Or one could say, too expensive with limited ablities to modify if you wish to run good track times.

Fbody :
Fast, Reliable, Basic, Strait Line
no frills, no good brakes, no good handling, the car can go fast, strait, is it an interior someone is gonna go WOW over, hell no, is it gonna run an Auto X fast, nope, can you modify the engine and drive tran cheaply to achive high end results, definatly.

I mean the list can go on, every car has an area it strives and areas it suffers. For that every car has a place in, what I feel is a true car enthusiest heart, my Personal feeling on this.

Hell even Civics have something they are good at, they are good on gas. (this is as per stock, not fart can modified).

Point being, I won't come strait out and call any car crap based on just one aspect of it's design.

CLIFF NOTES FOR THOSE WHOM WISH NOT TO READ IT AND WISH TO AVOID MAKING DUMB FOLLOW UP COMMENTS:
Told Tom I am Sorry
Explained my reasoning defending FBodies, because I used to own one and told about my experiance in the last post
FYI(s):
I do not own a "...outstanding stang, or camaro? Or whatever other piece of **** you drive..."
If it is a race in sportsman ship everyone wants, I have no problem meeting up with Tom, and having someone video taping a race against him. Although do to the mistake in the quoted post I am commenting on, I feel this no longer might stand.

*sits back and waits for the next set of flames*

(BTW by making personal attacks on myself and not upholding good fellowship, you are acting in fact, as uncivalized as I myself did, in my post calling tom an idiot; Just some food for thought).
Hey thanks for the compliments! Dont worry I dont take anything on the internet seriously, and I geuss my post was a little harsh. Anyways where are you from I'd love to meet you at a track for a friendly race
