INPUT NEEDED
a little of both....normally depends on traffic and time of day where i am at....clear day no one on the road i just go....with traffic it basically the first one...because there are a bunch of retards that cant drive...so ill be shifting rather rapidly(and i aslo want a manual but thats no prob with an audi with some of thier shifters)
no I was just gonna tell you that tehy don't make the A8 in a manual that I know of. I think there might be some A6s out there but am not sure, and I know there are alot of A4's with sticks
If you are looking for a tip trans I know the A6 has them along with the A4 but again I don't know about the A8.

dont A8s have those trannys that you can push the D to the side and push up to shift up and down to shift down? or is that the tip trans your talkin abt?
(this audi A8)its shifter is the one im describning)...im a newbie at these things...the shifter is pefect because i can select auto or "manual" so more benifits for me

I agree with CAB - go for the 2.8. Shouldn't be too hard to find one with a stick, I wouldn't think. ***** to the wall probably won't get you 21mpg in an A6, and (¡¡)DEFINITELY(!!) won't get you 21mpg in an A8. I've got a 1.8T tip, and I get around 24-25 even when I'm getting my foot into it.
Or you could just buy a 1.8T and chip it (same quickness, better mileage).
By the way, I guess I'm an a$$, but I'm paying the insurance on that ****. 16y.o. w/ an Audi isn't cheap.

17...and trust me i know........but im on a fair plan...360 per 6 months...my dad helped me get my insurance and im payin for it...this audi im expeting like 4-500....i jus got a job at autozone for like 8-9 an hour and applying for a job at de lorenzos body repair...
That's cool. My mom has worked at Wal-Mart for 26 years, so I filled out an app. there. She told me my name came up for a position, and they'll do reference checks before they call anyone, so I can only hope. I've got enough in the bank if anything came up, but I would really like to have an income, as well.
yea....i only have 2500 now....ive been working for about 2 months now.....and mowing lawns and fabbin hood scoops for ppl for like 20-50$$$ a scoop(i make my own using fiberglass)
I've got about $1700 right now, but once I start working, thatshould be going up. I usually do pretty at Christmas, so hopefully that will cover most of what my timing belt is gonna cost me next summer, and I won't have to get into the bank too much for that.
