I should have the family moved by June, then off to school I go until mid- November...

We plan to buy a house down there, then settle in, for about 6 years, until my two oldest are out of H.S.

My wife likes this house... I think I could handle living here.

3 kids... a bedroom for each, and a game room so they leave me the hell alone!!!

It's a bit pricey...

not bad, it looks pretty good for the price. Honestly, 250K gets you a lot less in my neighborhood. The only thing I'm really not digging is all the tile, instead of hardwood throughout the house but maybe that's just a texas thing.

Same up here. That would go for like $350k up here. Yea. Spo-******-kane. I like the hardwood. Easier to clean stuff.

it's texas... by August I'll be getting a promotion worth close to 700 extra a month, but because the cost of living is lower, my Housing allowance is going to go down 300 bucks...

Honestly, I was surprised myself at how much house you can get for the money down there...

Ft Hood is the only post I've been to that can be both dry and muddy at the same time.

Thanks for your service!

That house would be 800+ here in Cali.

So we're meeting in Texas after all?

Potty mouth!

That spread would list for about 1.2mil, around the DC area. 3.2 if the market weren't artifically depressed due to lack of money, jobs, bankers with bolls.

Nice crib. snap it up!

Neva did Hood. Frienda mine did. She alternately hated and loved it.
