Something a little different. http://www.purevolume.com/therotation My friend and I do these at night when we're bored. All of them still need some work, and the sound quality is pretty crappy cause of the amount of compression...but whatev yo!
9.30- First song under the name "The Rotation". Started off as my friends piano intro, bass line, and what not. Then I created the piano at 1:15 and on pretty much. I love the end just cause it's us trading parts, they're separated by a bar of just drums and bass.
10.2- I started this one with the ambient intro and sitarish stuff. Really different, but I love it.
10.30- This one starts off good, but some of the string parts later on are really off. I have to go back and fix them for my friend, they're just not harmonized right.
12.11- More strings. I love what my friend put over them, the like crying octave leaps. Def a song to just chill out too. My friend always finds the cool voices, and then I use them more later on.

You think? I think trance is the easiest to mix. The beat is much easier to match than any other genre, except some of the break beat stuff that is out there. Good mix though. Have you ever tried Ableton? Great tool and even better when you combine it with using the tables. I need to get one my mixes up here.
