My friend just picked up a Porche 997 Carrera S....what a sweet car! Looks fantastic. I like it better than the 996 body.
Seats might be the best I have ever sat in...really supportive, comfortable, not too stiff, but firm. Seating position is perfect.
The Transmission/clutch/shifter is perfect....really short throw on the shifter, really nice clutch, such a good feel to it, and easier to get used to than the clutch on my s4.

Corners like a dream...flat flat flat...no body roll at all. Great steering response, great feedback and feel.

Throttle response is immediate! And this thing likes to get out of its own way fast.

And the brakes!!! Fantastic...He didn't have the ceramics, but for the street you really don't need them. This thing stops rediculously fast.

What a great car! I might have to save up my nickles and dimes and get one of these when it comes out in a Carrera 4s model!!!

 

thats my dads dream car (he doesnt like the flashy ferrari). porsches are a very nice well built cars. love the sound of the engine

 

Yep...they keep getting better...

I'm thinking that porche is my next car...may not be for awhile. Have to be in a situation where two cars makes sense.
