Just lifted my X
2" Coil over spacers and shackles.
Took 1 hour 20 mins.
In order to remove the 2 piece stock rear shackle, you are suppose to remove the bolts from the outside of the shackle assembly, pull the outer plate off, then remove the inner plate with the bolts welded on, out. Well, the exhaust pipe gets in the way, and even after removing a few exhaust hanger bolts, it still wouldn't budge. Now this is normal from all the others that have installed this kit on the X forum im on, and some have just used like a come along to forcefully pull the inner plate/bolts out. Eh... thats boring, this is much better
didn't get a pic of the exhaust side... but this is what we did
Here it is all done, ill post more pics tomorrow when its light out and I can get better angles, pics don't really do justice ya know, its a nice lil increase in height, lil more girth. im happy with it
just gotta get it aligned now as I have some decent positive camber from the front spacers.
Nice thing about this lift, dont really need to change anything on it, maybe rear shocks eventually. I already went from stock 265-65-17 tires to 265-70-17. so, i wont be seeing a decrease in gas mileage as a result of having to put on larger tires, since i've already done that.

For the winter ill be takin the basket off and using the crossbars, set of board clamps (whichever will fit best) and the cargo box for random ish while goin to the mt all the time

nice I want some board racks too when I get whatever I get so I can free up space inside for people and regular gear

Yea man, itll be nice this year with the board rack / cargo box set up. that way I can have the boards outta the way on top, then use the box for boots and gear, specially afterwards if they are wet or whatever, keep the inside from stankin and foggin up easier.
