Actually the reason that I'm upgrading my PC is because of my monitor, so I guess I'm reverse of everyone. I recently upgraded to a 26" LCD - its soley my monitor but is also a 720p Hi-Def. I would have to say that a 30" would be to big for my desk - as in distance from me to the monitor.

As for going MAC - FUNK THAT!! - I hate macs - its always hard to find hacked programs.......I mean........woops. I guess I've never worked with mac's and I don't have any reason to change.

And I think I'm going to love the Quad-core

Sort of looks like my old desktop PC. It was liquid cooled and OC'd to 3.8Ghz stable (hit the 4.0 mark but it crashed all the time). SLI-2x 7800GT, 2 GIGs ram, about 400Gigs HDD space. It was pretty sweet.

Well, couple things... I am in I.T. sometimes I do work from home need a fast box to do multiple things. I am a HEAVY HEAVY GAMER...So i built my box knowing I would be able to take video games that are coming out for next 2/3 years. I did alot of research and tweaking before I bought anything. All the timings on my ram are downclocked/ HDD's Are in Raid0 my main OS is running at SATA2 with 16mb cache. I burn alot of movies... uhem I mean BACKUP "clears throat" Sound Editing for my mixes.

I also am testing some new stuff out for work..looking to deploy an IDS so I setup VMWARE on my machine and literally running a virtual network on my PC. All this with Firefox open,winamp,downloading,burning...I mean u need a fast box

So far no isses what so ever (with vista) knocks on wood!
