Hi. I expect to get 10000000000 people saying "Audi.. Audi".. but hear me out.

I am looking for a reliable daily driver. I am looking at an A4 Avant and a Subaru Legacy Outback. There is a pretty substantial price difference (in both insurance and ticket).. so if you hav $7,000 to buy one of the two, what would it be and why?

 

Avant, because it looks better...I like the impreza's but the outbacks look like shii, but that's my opinion...besides that, either way, i'd bet they'd both last a long time, and the scooby would be a lot less expensive to repair (i'd assume)....

 

7 grand is decent.. u want reliable???
I'd say keep looking... do u have to have a wagon??

 

Avant looks wayyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy better and would be a lot more fun to drive. The Audi will feel way more solid and its probably safer too.

 

No it doesn't have to bee a wagon, I'm in college and do a lot of moving about. Plus the wagons are more aerodynamic.

 

Ahh, yes, the Subaru Outback, winner of the OfficialNorth American Bull-Dyke Car of the Year, for ten years straight.

Unless you're a butch lesbian with a buzzcut and a bad attitude, don't buy an Outback.

WOW! I'm glad I checked here, first! I was seriously thinking about buying my Mother one of them "Dykemobiles." I'm sure She wudn't've appreciated being hit on by "wemens." What's the story on Saab 900's & Volvo 850's? No rush, tho. I'm aiming for Mothers' Day (which will INSTANTLY make Mom like ME more than my two Sisters!!! I'll be the BESTEST Son EVER!!!)

 

I think you meant sooby, because until i read this i was thinking of scooby doo. Also avant, because its looks better, better safety(i think), more room, plus from experience i know that if oyu have pets or just carry alot of crap in the car te sooby's have this crappy carpet which is just near impossible to fully cleam and really holds on to pet hair, audi has a plush carpet which is alot easier to clean. and alsoaudi still has the best AWD system. the only reason id say get sooby is its cheaper on maintence.
