if you are serious, i would start out small...perhaps a dealership sponser? i had a dealership sponser my drag car for an event 2 years ago...they paid for my entry, and i had to put their logo on the door for that event, and wear a shirt in the pits.

 

Hey....thats not a bad idea!!!...i have to go get my inspection done next week at a local dealership..i'll tralk to the manager..cuz..as the name implies...im an auto-xer..so...maybe i can get something out of all of this..any suggestions?

if youre serious...they will want to know things like, are there alot of audis there, is it in the area relative to the dealership,...things like that..what they want to know is whether or not they will get any useful advertising out of sponsering you. i would try talking to the general superintendant or general manager of the dealership, or the owner.

but present yourself professionally..dont go in like someone who would like to thrown a decal on his car for some free stuff...if you present yourself as being a serious racer, and they do turn you down, they might give you a push in the right direction!
