My Audi. Half shafts in, no more clicking, and new (and correct) front brake pads, so no more Brake Wear light like for the last 2 years...

It's finally Saturday!

Brad - How did it go? Everything went well I hope. What kind of brake pads did you get this time?

Having my first cup of the day. Black with some sugar.

It took a total of 3 and a half hours from the time we stuck the jack under the car, until she was on the ground again, including a trip to autozone to pick up a 14 mm key key. So, it went pretty smooth. The pads are lifetime Duralast from Autozone. But I learned that the 99.5 takes '00 pads. A couple years ago I bought the 99's and had the yellow light on the whole time. They didn't make a big deal about it and let me have the '00s for free since I had the warranty on the 99s. I just told them they were squeaking (which they did, occasionally).

All that, just to say, no coffee for me today...

Well hai! Sorry I've been MIA for a bit. The last couple of weeks have been crazy and I haven't had much time for teh intarwebs. First it was fall break, so naturally I was up to no good instead of sitting in front of my computer, and then it was my girlfriend's birthday yesterday so the couple of days leading up to that were packed with various family events and such. Oh, and in the mix of all that I finally got a new job so I've been busy with that as well, working hard to maintain a good impression there cuz I really like the line of work and want to stick with it for a while

That said, I'm currently enjoying a lighter roast at the local coffee shop while slowly but surely getting the hang of typing on the dvorak keyboard layout and attempting to get the motivation to do my chemistry

Why? I mean, I googled it to see what it looked like and stuff, and I understand the intended advantage, but why?

Because the Dvorak system is better and faster and the QWERTY system is archaic and outdated, its advantages long rendered useless.

I had your mom this morning because I knew Nick's mom just wasn't gonna cut it. <3

Glad to hear you're doing okay Justin! Happy belated birthday to your girlfriend!

Brad - Have you tried the frappucinno version of that? It's pretty bomb.

Enjoying my first cup of the day. I think the weather is cooling down a lot this week. Thank goodness.
