The Morning Coffee Thread
^ meh. Redbull is a little too on the sweet side for me to drink just to drink; its only useful purpose in my shenaniganry is for use in jägerbombs haha
I need more coffee... I'm only about 2 cups in, which is not nearly enough for me to find the motivation to pull the front bumper off the b7 like I want to do...

I personally never got into Monster. The taste is meh to me. I agree Redbull is better but it doesn't work at all. It'll keep me shaky and jittery for a good second but I'll sleep like a baby if I wanted to.
Anyway, having my first cup of coffee fairly late this Sunday. I hope you guys are having a great weekend.
Rain? Must be nice. It's been 100+ here. I can't wait til winter.

Thought I'd pop by to share my most recent changes to the B7
This was done last week but I kept forgetting til now to link the pictures here lol
First, I got an RS4 rep front grille. I say rep (for those of you unfamiliar with B7 technicalities) because a genuine RS4 grille will only fit into an s-line bumper, which I do not have- so I found one that looks RS4 that was made to fit the standard bumper
Gotta love eBay haha. This pic also shows off the LED DRLs that I put in; looks so much better than a standard 1157 bulb.

I also picked up some LED license plate lights. The ones I got were a complete redesign of the whole light assembly, as opposed to just a festoon style bulb wrapped with diodes. These that I got give the whole surface area of the lens an array of diodes facing directly outwards, producing a much clearer light output than a festoon, where 2/3 of the diodes aren't facing outwards and thus the light output relies on internal reflection. Definitely worth the extra cost in my opinion to get the whole new assembly instead of just the bulbs.

Next, I'll be putting in new boost hoses later tonight, and hopefully by Friday I'll have the full interior light LED conversion kit I ordered from Emil yesterday in hand and ready to install Saturday
Pics of that will of course be provided as well ;P
On topic, been coffee-ing up all day; 2 cups of black drip upon waking, iced mocha at lunch, and changing it up now atm as I type this with a rehab to get me through the rest of the day. Picked up a second job this past week (at a coffee shop, ironically enough) and the days I work there, obviously being after I get off from my office job, have me working 9am til about 1am, and then I'm back up for work at the office at 7, so I'm constantly exhausted now haha good thing the second job provides the very life supporting substance I need to keep going :P
