working on my second cup on my wonderful first day off of four

 

Cold morning after some rain last night. I'm happy as heck.

First cup of coffee with some sugar and a spoonful of hate. Gotta love it.

 

It's been a pretty cold day. I'm enjoying it a lot.

Having a cup of hot one right now.

 

first cup... awake and up before anyone else. Enjoying the quiet for the next few minutes

Enjoying a couple cups before I start putting the car back together after a heater core change.

Ugh...

 

^ How'd you like that job? I did that once. ONCE... Biggest. Pain. EVAR! Hope you took pics of how all the wiring harnesses were arranged. I didn't, see, and after getting everything put back together, couldn't start it cuz I ended up missing ONE stupid little 22 gauge wire that just so happened to complete some sort of circuit to the starter and it took 3 days as well as nearly pulling everything back apart to find it. Got that fixed, she fired right up, pulled out of the driveway and the ABS light came on. That was easy though, just took a few minutes of referencing the relay wiring diagram and finding that I had put the main power supply to the ABS system on the wrong relay power post lol moral of the story is to photo EVERY detail under the dash when pulling things apart down there

In current events, I thought I'd let you all know exclusively that I hate Mondays. Especially cold ones. Very especially ones that precess a weekend that dropped 2.5 feet of snow on your head (overnight! mind you...), leaving you wanting to do nothing but stay firmly stuffed under a warm blanket, read a book, and drink ALL the coffee. I couldn't do that today, because life. And thus I had about a full cup each of spite and hate in my respective second, and third cups of coffee. I think I'll try a good dose of angst in my fourth. And a half a bottle of Kahlua in the fifth. Hah ;P

 

Opted for a hot cider K-cup this morning because I'm low on coffee...

I'm on cup 3 so far today. it seems like its going to be that kind of day. the chill is setting in again

 

Since it's not Sunday anymore, and I can't post in that thread, want to explain your whole story here? You sound like you lead a rather interesting life...

 

if someone else were to tell me the story of what I have been going through the past couple of months, I'd tell them they were full of it. things are definitely in the realm of soap opera, bad movie, type territory.

anyway, the whole story is a bit much to get into. I keep trying to type it out and it gets long and confusing. to summarize, I've been spending a lot of time with a woman that is not my wife. our relationship has gone from being platonic, to being physical. we were spending some time in a public park. it was cold. retreated to the back seat of the car to warm up (sunshade, tinted windows). things started getting very warm. we got a bit carried away. we got busted.

cop gave us a verbal warning. i assumed it was because he recognized me (I recognized him). turns out it is because he knew who she was. her mom is kind of a "big deal" locally. cop wants to be on her mom's good side so he sends mom a "heads up" email. so as a result i'm all WTF? really?

i think its an age thing I'm 41 and she is 23. don't judge.
