I grew up in the church (involuntarily) and the more knowledgeable I become, the more I realize organized religion is total BS. Don't get me wrong I believe in God, just hate the fact that they'll ignore facts and preach their "Be a good (insert religion here) or you'll burn in hell". But all that said, religion does serves a purpose. I mean God knows (no pun intended) if there weren't religious wars, conflicts and missions we wouldn't all be here.

I sort of agree with you VNV, I grew up a 7th day adventist. I have been through multiple "organized" religions and now I am a non-denominational Christian. They preach straight from the Bible. There are not any profits or anything like that. IDK I just like that a lot better. Thats my 2 cents.

Good men do good things. Bad men do bad things. It takes religion to make good men do bad things.

I actually contacted the website that Mr. Spammer is 'representing' and here's what I got back:
Got Questions Ministries has absolutely no connection to Ronald L. Grossi, the self-described internet evangelist. Ronald Grossi is a forum spammer. He visits forums completely unrelated to the Christian faith and creates posts, presenting the Gospel and often linking to other Christian websites. Often, unfortunately, it seems that he includes a link to www.GotQuestions.org in his posts. Please let us assure you of the following:

(1) We have absolutely no connection with Ronald Grossi. We do not know who he is...and as far as we know, we have never had contact with him.

(2) Ronald Grossi does not have our permission, endorsement, or consent to do what he is doing.

(3) We have never encouraged Ronald Grossi to make posts in forums. We have never encouraged anyone to make posts in forums...period.

(4) We have repeatedly attempted to contact Ronald Grossi to ask him to cease posting our web address. However, the email addresses he posts with are always invalid.

If you arrived on our website due to a Ronald Grossi spam post...we apologize, but we had absolutely nothing to do with the posting in your forums.

Sincerely,

The Staff at GotQuestions.org

They seem pretty ok in my book, even though religion isn't my thing.

wow rlgrossi guy either needs to get a life, or has come up with one of the worst methods of attempting to save people

lol
Yeah. I was raised Protestant Christian and I know the bible says to preach to the people and such, but I don't think it was supposed to extend to spamming and forcing religious beliefs down other peoples throats. Oh well. No harm, no foul, I suppose.

Unfortunately - peeps like ole Ronny-boy and that dizzy inbred b!tch that goes around protesting soldier funerals are lunatics - correction - fanatics... they get an idea in their head that this is their sole purpose and thus act.

Fortunately we live in a country that can allow any nitwit with a hard-on for a cause to get immediate attention with little reprocussion...

Like most, I believe there's forces out there that may be at work. Personally, I believe in karma - the fact that any God can allow the attrocities that occur in this world is not that omnipetant in my view - that most religions would like you to believe

my 2 cents

If it were anywhere but OT, I could see moving, or REMOVING it, but, OT is OT, so...

For those who ARE offended, I recommend not clicking on this thread.

Given Cyber's discoveries, I am removin the OP's links in his post, but not the one in the websites reply to Cyber's inquiry.

Okay - now this may stir up some sheet - but I just want to point out one (of many)fundamental flaw in the Bible...

Ole Ronny-boy hit upon it.... The Holy Bible says, "That if you confess with your mouth Jesus as Lord, and believe in your heart that God (The Father) raised Jesus Christ from the dead, you will be saved." {Romans 10:9}

Okay - now if you confess that Jesus is Lord then who is God? Is God and the Lord one and the same? Are they one and the same - then that's like saying your right hand taught your left to snap it's fingers - it makes no sense...

This argument his been a bone of contention with me for some time. The Christian churchesare greatly divided over this issue thus spawning fringe sects like the Presbyterians, Penecostals, Baptists (of any flavor), Adventists, Mormons, Lutherans, Jehovah Witnesses, etc, etc... the list practically never ends...

Some worship God - some Jesus - some both and then there's the Holy Ghost...

Even the Islamic faith have their spin offs - the Jews probably the least - but no one can touch the Christians for secular disunionity...

And to think this all started with Abraham... if there was a God that started all this - why not show the true path to all? And that's crap that Jesus was sent to teach and show man the way - trust me - if God can flood the planet for 40 days or wipeout two towns for kinky shenanigans- I think he could make a convincing argument for all to bear witness and finally come to a single conclusion...

So in conclusion, what the hell is up with Paris Hilton? She one of the Four Horseman of the Apocalpse or what?
