to protect your bumper from rocks?

I really don't carry many random things in my trunk.

 

A lot of people use that blue tape to make temporary numbers for autocross and such. It stays on all day, and comes off without damaging the finish.

 

Do differently-colored painters' have hue-specific tape they use, as well?

 

I think it has to do with how long they will stick and can be removed without damaging the paint.

 

I think you lost cyberlogicx on this one...the tape that jeff is talking about is solely used by performers in vegas and handy smurf. I on the other hand use pale irish white painters tape.

 

Most random thing eh???? well how about my Pickl;e hat and burger costume that has been in there since before halloween hahaha.....

ya the blue tape is there to protect from rocks and other stuff on long drives
