Why don't people get so wound up about something else? So what a guy makes a movie poking fun at a particular culture. I'm from Iraq you don't think I'm hearing stuff 1000 times worse than that everyday? Stop crying.
hes is really making fun of the US, if you really look into it
Just like how Team America did. But people don't get it. Anyways I'm not the one complianing about it. The Turkish guy is just mad because Kazakhs are Turkic.

Saw it the other night. I was laughing so hard my face hurt when I was leaving the theater.

I was surprised at how anti-semetic this movie was. I am half Jewish and I could tell my dad (100% jew) really took offense at some of the stuff on there (the running of the jew, etc...) I could take it with a grain of salt because I realize how much Mexicans, blacks, Canadians, Iraqis, and everyone else gets it dished to them as well.

For the turk who is acting like a b it ch, suck it up man and relax. Life is too short to get bent out of shape about anything that won't matter in two weeks.

see this is exactly the problem. all these people like you went to see this movie without having any prior knowledge of who sasha is or where borat comes from.
relax, hes jewish himself.

ive been a fan since 01'. i did not enjoy the movie because when i compare it to his previous (genius/hilarious) work in the ali g show, it amounts to nothing. yes there were a few funny scenes but comon it was bad.

Anyway, edjamacate yourself and watch all of the ali g show seasons and movies. Then you will undersetand and apreciate AliG, and borat. not so much bruno.. hes just a ***.

oh c'mon, did you not see that one skit where Bruno is at some beach in the US with some college guys on spring break? That was PRICELESS!!!

But yeah, compared to the show the movie was a letdown, but to succeed it had to:

a) make fun of Americans less and leave politics out of it
b) be more accessible (dumber)
c) have gross gags
