3 hours,
9:15-10:15 vacuum
10:15-11:00 clean carpets
11:00-12:15 clean door sills, trunk, engine,and rubber mouldings. 30 freaken MF towels later. DUDE WIPE IT DOWN AFTER YOU WASH THE CAR!!!!111one11!!!
12:30-1:30 dress leather seats,panels,interior trim
1:45-2:15 wheels
2:15-3:00 wash car
3:00-3:45 clay top half.

As a not to Redgoat, I cleaned each wheel 4 times. Once with the tire scrubber and APC. then once with dedicated wheel wash (slightly acidic) to eat the brake dust. One more time with the apc and brush, One more time with the wheel cleaner. I got them as good as they are going to get. I then clayed them before i started on the top of the car. not much improvement. anywho, as it cools i will reevaluate what more i can do with them.

 

well what do ya expect?? that flarking car is almost 11 years old

 

still claying, 1/3rd left, need to eat... massive headache..

 

Just one note... careful when you polish headlights. Some plastic headlights have a layer of UV protectant... and you can polish through it, leaving the plastic defenseless against UV rays. Give them a year and they'll turn yellow.

 

i have a specific polish for plastic, so I think it will be okay..

his headlights are lil yellow :S I'll get that fixed up tho.

Ah a neglected white car...

I used to have to take wheel acid to half of the cars paint... when it was a really neglected white car. They'd be little rust spots from brake dust ALL OVER the damn things... so I'd just mist wheel acid onto the affected areas, let it sit for a few seconds, and wash it off with a soapy mitt followed by a good rinse. It worked wonders... but scared me.

 

well his wheels scare the chit out of me. they are white now, yeah they oxidized all that crap on there white. so i ran the polisher on one and poof it' looked real good.

so i have that yet to do, along with 1/2 the roof, the trunk, and all the lowers.

as for the pics.. I'm gunna charge you to see them karl. :P
