Default My First Track Event 56k not gunna lie your gunna die

Sweet well this was my frist track event of any kind. i took the apex race class and was in the beginner group. also in my group was ferrari f-430's, a few porsche turbos, some lambos, audi a6, jetta, and a few other cars. let me say im still pumped about this. i have never had so much fun before. being able to go from 115 to 30mph and fly through some corners was a total blast. i was only passed 2 times and that was by some instructors in a lambo. sorry i dont have pics of me on the track yet they will be up after some lady emails them to me. here are a few pics of the car show and some of the racers. the only scary part about the race was when i was doing 100mph and my car started to miss fire. i thought i blew something up, then i realized i just ran out of gas. 70 miles on almost 12 gallons of 93. o ya best part of the day was passing an old man in his brand new $200k ferrari f-430 in my $20k mitsubishi evo 8 hahahah sucka.

What track did you do it at? Im trying to find a club out here in AZ that does open track days. I know they are a blast, too bad all i have now is a FWD accord. But its got 240 and a 6 spd, so i will be able to make do.

When i saw those pics i thought this was going to be scottsdale. A ton of those guys love racing their ferraris and lambos.

thats gotta be the best bang for the buck $200.00

Ive gotta look for something like that here in Cali.
thats crazy how all the beginners were on the track at the same time regardless of
make & model of the cars....

its gotta be a great rush to pass a ferrari!!!!
