yea tehy do. But audi doesnt follow it do they? B.c the new RS4 in car and driver raced a SL 55 AMG (i think) and they beat him b/c of the 155 govener. What are the companies involved. I thought it was all german auto companies.

 

Yeah! Benz, BMW, and Audi. That's why a 390 hp Benz useta get out run by me'n my 215 hp Opel when I ran up'n down teh Autobahns. Been in effect for almost two decades, I think. Or, damn close to it. Aside form monitoring all those myriad car functions that chip we all wanna replace, or have already, limits top speed to approx 155mph, regardless of WHP... Opel, obviously, wasn't invited to the table, so I got to own a 175mph Bahn-burner for the Deutsch equivalent of $16,750.00, 'til I sold it and came back to 'Merica.

I'm hoping that, as power escalates in the Far East Europe will hafta abandon their agreement just to stay in teh game. Keep your fingers crossed...

 

how come audi broke the agreement on the new RS4 or did they just drive a car before it was in affect? I also want to drive the autobahn so bad. I think next summer i am going over with my fam and i will drive it. But we are only going to italy i think. There is part of it there right?

exactly what i was talking about. R they just ignoring the aggreement?

 

i think it's just a pre-market car that hasn't had all the tweaks (ie... installed the governer yet) worked out.
