well got out of the honda sceen and just bought a 99 a4 awd 2.8 (97k) and need to know some basics

best fluids to use for what oil,gear oil etc and when to change them.
tunes ups
cheap effective mods
just any little info will help thank

 

Well you have a 2.8 so there is just about nothing for your engine; unless you want to go supercharged. Other than that just stick with synthetic lubes and you should be fine. There will be guys on here that might tell you to get Seafoam for your engine but I didn't do it and my car is fine. O and next time you have model specific inquiries post them in the B5 section.
